Community Involvement
Beaumont PD Glycol Plant>

We recognize that being a socially responsible member of the community requires maintaining an open door for dialogue with our community and actively working to support community needs.

Community Advisory Panel. Plant management meets regularly with a cross section of plant neighbors and local officials to discuss community expectations and concerns.

Volunteerism. Employees are encouraged to volunteer their time to key community organizations. Many of our employees serve as student mentors, tutors, coaches, and members of key civic and education organizations.

Global Care Day. Bingham Elementary School has been a “Partners in Education” with the Beaumont site for more than 10 years and the site of several Global Care Day projects.  The school has expressed much gratitude and appreciation for all of the work more than 100 employees and family members performed this year on the school grounds.

Explore & Experiment. Employee volunteers conduct hands-on science learning activities in local school classrooms. Although still in the building stages of our Explore & Experiment program in the Beaumont area, students have benefited from the science expertise of our employees.
