Global Care Day. During Lyondell's 7th annual Global Care Day event on Saturday, May 13, 2006, Newark plant employee volunteers, family members and friends spent the day working at the Pathways to Independence center in Kearny. Pathways provides job training and life skills development services to area developmentally disabled adults. The Newark plant volunteers performed cleaning, painting and made other improvements at the Pathways facility on Kingsland Avenue.
Site employees have participated as guest speakers for career day activities at local schools.
