Co-ops & Interns

Co-ops and interns are given meaningful projects for which they have ownership and responsibility.

Each student is mentored by a colleague in their area. Project assignments will be determined based on previous experience and completed coursework to provide challenging, but attainable, tasks.

Through multiple terms, co-ops and interns gain work experience at a variety of locations, where they learn multiple skills and gain experience in different roles. Co-op terms are available for the following roles:

  • Chemical engineers
  • Mechanical engineers
  • Electrical engineers
  • Environmental engineers
  • Health & Safety engineers
  • Logistics personnel
  • Chemists
  • Accounting & finance majors
